1. About Ipsos

The Ipsos Application (“app”) is provided for use by Ipsos Strategic Marketing d.o.o., a corporation having its principal place of business at 8 Gavrila Principa str. Belgrade, Serbia, acting on behalf of itself and on behalf of Ipsos’ Affiliate Controllers, listed at the end of this document (referred to herein as “Ipsos”, “we”, or “us”).

Ipsos Strategic Marketing d.o.o. (hereinafter "Ipsos”, “we” or “us”) is a specialized research company established in Serbia and is part of the Ipsos global group of research companies. We are engaged in market, media and public opinion. Ipsos is a member of ESOMAR. As such, Ipsos adheres to the ESOMAR Code of Conduct and the relevant regulations and guidelines.

We respect the privacy of your personal data and are committed to protecting it in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection and GDPR.

This Privacy Policy explains how Ipsos uses personal information collected from you (“Interviewer”, “you”, or “your”) using the Ipsos Adria Capi app. Prior consent from an interviewer is obtained to hold his/her information. If you are already an Ipsos interviewer, this Privacy Policy should also be read in conjunction with your Ipsos Application form.

The relevant controller of your personal data will be Ipsos Affiliate, whom you have submitted Application form for interviewers.

2. About the app

The app is used by interviewers like you who are engaged by relevant Ipsos Affiliate. The app is developed and maintained by Ipsos.

Data from the app is synchronized to Ipsos servers EU-based.

3. How will the relevant controller use any personal data collected via the App?

This Privacy Policy applies only to interviewer personal data collected via the app. Other than as explicitly stated herein, it does not apply to any personal data collected pursuant to any Interviewer Agreement.

Utilizing the app to conduct surveys with respondents

Access to record audio (only related to the surveys completed with respondents on app)

Recording audio in the background during survey completion (with respondent consent)

Quality checking to ensure questions are administered correctly

Access to take pictures and record video (only related to the surveys completed with respondents on the app)

User initiated captures of photos and videos related to the survey administered (with consent)

Meeting client requirements on projects as part of the research project specification

In order to function properly and to be able to provide Ipsos with the services as contracted under the Interviewer Agreement, the app will require the permissions for Access location, list user accounts and record audio:

In addition, an Interviewer ID and password will be used to log in to the application each time it is used to ensure controlled access. The login process also allows new work to be allocated to individual interviewers.

4. Legal basis

The legal basis for the collection and processing of your personal data is your application form and consent that you have given to Ipsos.

5. How will Ipsos ensure interviewer personal information is secure?

In line with Law on Personal Data Protection and GDPR, Ipsos takes its information security responsibilities seriously and applies various precautions to ensure your information is protected from loss, theft, or misuse. Security precautions include appropriate physical security of offices, controlled and limited access to computer systems and the use of secured and encrypted internet connections.

6. How long will my personal data be retained in Ipsos Adria Capi app?

The Ipsos Adria Capi appl will only retain your interviewer ID until the app is uninstalled.

The interview data (including media files) is removed from the device as soon as it is synchronized (transferred) successfully to the datacenter.

The interview data (used for quality control and interviewer payment purposes) is then stored at the datacenter for 60 days after the associated project, in which it was collected, is closed.

7. Where will personal data collected via the app be held & processed?

All personal data used and collected for surveys will be stored by Ipsos. Storage location is in EU

8. What are the personal data stored and transmitted to data centers?

The following relates to the information we store and transmit to our servers: Information transmitted to our servers during data synchronization via an encrypted channel:

·       Authentication data (password) entered in the application.

·       DateTime – timestamp of the interaction.

9. How Can You Access Your Information and/or Correct It and/or Request Its Transfer and/or Erasure and/or Withdraw Your Consent and/or Restrict the Processing and/or To Be Free From Any Automated Processing and/or Complain?

You have the right to request a copy of all the information we hold about you. You also have the right to request the correction of any personal data we hold about you. In various circumstances, you also have the right to request from us the deletion or erasure of the personal information we hold about you, subject to any limitation set out within your application form and Consent.
